Vivo recently launched the V29 smartphone in certain global markets, and now it’s expected to come to India along with the V29 Pro. These Indian versions will have some features tailored specifically for the Indian market. One of the features confirmed for the Vivo V29 in India is NavIC connectivity, which can be useful for location-based services.
Both phones, the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro, are expected to be launched in India at the end of September. They will debut with an exclusive color option called “Majestic Red,” and there may be additional colors inspired by India.

The global version of the Vivo V29 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip and runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. It features 6.78-inch AMOLED display with high resolution and fast 120Hz refresh rate.

The storage options includes 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Color choices include Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, Purple Fairy and Space Black.

The Vivo V29 5G boast 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and 2-megapixel monochrome camera. For selfies and video calls it has 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus.

The phone packs a 4,600mAh battery with fast charging support, delivering 80W charging speeds. It offers security through in-display fingerprint sensor and supports various connectivity options like 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, NavIC and USB Type-C. The phone is relatively lightweight at around 186 grams and has dimensions of 164.18mm x 74.37mm x 7.46mm.
