A significant earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck southeast of Honshu in Japan on Friday, according to National Centre for Seismology (NCS). The quake occurred at depth of 62 km at 07:01:24 IST. Despite the intensity of earthquake there have been no reports of casualties so far.
