Shah Rukh Khan recently expressed his affection for Virat Kohli in an Ask SRK session. He referred to Virat as his “damaad,” which means son-in-law in Hindi. This term of endearment comes from the fact that Virat is married to Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh’s co-star in several films.
Shah Rukh Khan tweet about Virat Kholi
In response to question about Virat, Shah Rukh tweeted, “I love @imVkohli; he is like family to me, and I always pray for his well-being. He’s like our son-in-law!” The reference to “son-in-law” stems from the close bond Shah Rukh shares with Anushka, who began her acting career alongside him in the movie “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” in 2008.
