The creators of the movie “Animal” recently unveiled its second song, titled “Satranga.” The music video starts with Ranbir Kapoor’s character and his love interest Rashmika Mandanna celebrating Karwa Chauth together. Everything seems fine until Rashmika gets upset by something Ranbir says. They end up having a fight, and Ranbir’s on-screen father, played by Anil Kapoor, steps in to mediate.
Check out the song.
Ranbir dismisses their argument as a “silly fight between husband and wife,” reassuring his father that things are okay. However, Rashmika and Ranbir’s reconciliation is short-lived as they continue to argue in the following scenes. The video concludes with Ranbir expressing uncertainty about his return and asking Rashmika not to remarry if he doesn’t come back.
“Satranga” from the Movie Animal
The song “Satranga” has been beautifully sung by Arijit Singh, with music directed by Shreyas Puarnik and lyrics penned by Siddharth-Garima. The emotional track captures the complexities of relationships and love.
Initially, “Animal” was scheduled for release on August 11, which would have clashed with Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2” and Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s “OMG 2.” However, the makers decided to postpone the release to December this year. “Gadar 2” enjoyed immense success at the box office, while “OMG 2” received moderate acclaim.
