Additionally, Gandhi expressed concerns about the future of the state’s youth, mentioning the Vyapam scam. This scandal, which emerged in 2013, involves widespread corruption in admissions and recruitments, affecting many young people.
Illegal Medical Admissions and Corruption
Gandhi emphasized that the scam had ruined the prospects of around 1 crore (10 million) youths. He also mentioned instances where medical seats were sold illegally, and individuals had to pay large sums of money to secure positions.
