Siddharth was forced to leave the event due to protests by some pro-Kannada individuals. Prakash Raj, speaking on behalf of compassionate Kannadigas, expressed regret for the incident.
Instead of questioning all the political parties and its leaders for failing to solve this decades old issue.. instead of questioning the useless parliamentarians who are not pressurising the centre to intervene.. Troubling the common man and Artists like this can not be… https://t.co/O2E2EW6Pd0

Prakash Raj Criticizes Political Priorities Over Artist Safety
He criticized the focus on troubling common people and artists instead of questioning political parties and leaders for not resolving longstanding issues like the Cauvery River water dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The protestors, identified as members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Swabhimani Sene, interrupted Siddharth’s press event, claiming it was inappropriate for him to be there considering the ongoing water issue between the two states.
