Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate significant projects in Madhya Pradesh. A major highlight is the ‘Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan’, a park in Jabalpur, costing around ₹100 crore. It will feature a grand 52-foot-high bronze statue of Rani Durgavati and showcase the history, art, culture, and lifestyle of the Gond and other tribal communities.

Moreover, PM Modi will kick-start the Light House Project in Indore, a housing initiative under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, benefiting over 1000 families. Additionally, several projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission, aimed at providing safe drinking water through household taps, will be inaugurated in Mandla, Jabalpur, and Dindori districts, totaling over ₹2,350 crores.
Roads, Rails, and Pipelines: Modi’s Investments in MP
To improve road infrastructure, PM Modi will dedicate projects worth more than ₹4,800 crore. Rail infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh will also get a boost, with projects valued over ₹1,850 crore. Furthermore, PM Modi will inaugurate the Vijaipur-Auraiya-Phulpur Pipeline Project, a 352 km-long pipeline built at a cost of more than ₹1,750 crore. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for the Nagpur Jabalpur section (317 km) of the Mumbai Nagpur Jharsuguda Pipeline Project, constructed at a cost exceeding ₹1,100 crore.
These initiatives signify a significant step towards improving living conditions and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh, aligning with the government’s vision for inclusive development.
