Launching ‘Sankalp Saptaah’ Nationwide
‘Sankalp Saptaah’ is being rolled out across 500 aspirational blocks in 329 districts nationwide, with the goal of enhancing governance at the block level to improve citizens’ quality of life.
To ensure the successful execution of ABP and formulate effective block development strategies, discussions known as ‘chintan shivirs’ were organized at the village and block levels throughout the country. ‘Sankalp Saptaah’ serves as the culmination of these thoughtful discussions and will be observed in all 500 aspirational blocks.
Daily Focus on Key Development Themes
Each day during ‘Sankalp Saptaah’, from October 3 to October 9, focuses on a specific developmental theme that all aspirational blocks will address. These themes include ‘Comprehensive Health’, ‘Nutritious Families’, ‘Cleanliness’, ‘Agriculture’, ‘Education’, and ‘Prosperity Day’, as stated in the press release.
