Oppo is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its A-series lineup in China, possibly next week. This upcoming device, rumored to be called the Oppo A2 Pro, has had its specifications leaked on Weibo. While Oppo hasn’t officially confirmed any details yet, the leaked information suggests some interesting features.
Oppo’s Recent Launch: The A38
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo A2 Pro is expected to debut on September 15. It’s said to feature 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with curved edges, offering smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it’s rumored to pack large 5,000mAh battery.

The leaked specs also indicate that the Oppo A2 Pro might offer up to 12GB of RAM and storage options going up to 512GB. There have been teaser images of the phone showing a circular camera island on the back, housing a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash. The images also reveal the phone in a Black color option.
Features of the Oppo A2 Pro
In other news, Oppo recently launched the Oppo A38 in India, priced at Rs. 12,999. This smartphone is equipped with octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC and features 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired SuperVOOC fast charging support. The device sports 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness level of up to 720 nits. It runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.
