The Oppo A18 has been launched in UAE and it shares many similarities with recently unveiled Oppo A38, which is now available in both the UAE and India. The Oppo A18 is budget-friendly smartphone featuring MediaTek Helio G85 processor and non-removable 5,000mAh battery.
It’s available in single storage variant and comes in black and blue colors. However, the exact price for UAE market has not been confirmed by Oppo yet.

In terms of specifications, the Oppo A18 boasts 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 720nits, and 89.90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It supports dual SIM cards and runs on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.
The Oppo A18 is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, coupled with Mali G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of EMMC5.1 internal storage. You can expand the storage up to 1TB using microSD card, and the phone also offers virtual RAM extension of up to additional 4GB.
Camera and Connectivity
In the camera department, the phone features a vertically placed pill-shaped module on the top left corner, housing an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 5-megapixel front camera located in a centered waterdrop notch at the top of the display.
The Oppo A18 is equipped with 5000mAh battery and has side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It offers connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and USB Type-C port. The phone includes 3.5mm audio jack, weighs 188 grams and has dimensions of 163.74mm x 75.03mm x 8.16mm.
