Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the updated version of its GLE SUV in India, with prices starting from Rs. 96.40 lakh (excluding taxes) for the basic model. This launch coincided with the unveiling of the C43 AMG, marking Mercedes-Benz’s final release for 2023. Customers can place their orders starting today, and deliveries will commence at the end of November 2023.
GLE Exterior look
Externally, the new GLE boasts a refreshed look, featuring sleek LED headlights, a single slat grille, redesigned alloy wheels, and a modified rear bumper with updated LED taillights. The SUV maintains its familiar shape, equipped with functional roof rails, side steps, and blacked-out side mirrors.
GLE Interior
Inside, the GLE’s interior has undergone significant upgrades, including a new steering wheel borrowed from the S-Class, the latest MBUX system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, redesigned air vents, four-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.
The SUV offers various features such as wireless charger, electrically adjustable front and rear seats, ventilated and powered front seats with massage function, degree surround camera, transparent bonnet function, electric sun blinds and panoramic sunroof.
GLE Engine Options
The GLE offers three engine options: 2.0-litre diesel,3.0-litre diesel, and 3.0-litre petrol motor. The four-cylinder petrol engine generates 265bhp and 550Nm of torque while six-cylinder engines produce 362bhp and 750Nm and 375bhp and 500Nm respectively. All engines come paired with eight-speed automatic transmission and feature 4MATIC all-wheel-drive technology standard.
