Siddaramaiah took swipe at his political opponent, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy of the JD(S) party, suggesting that Kumaraswamy and the BJP rely on each other for political support. Siddaramaiah assured that measures have been taken to overcome the state’s electricity shortage, including plans to purchase power from external sources and the requisition of electricity from private companies operating within the state.
