BMW India introduced the iX1 electric SUV in the country on September 28, 2023. This electric version of the BMW X1 comes in a single, fully equipped variant and costs Rs. 66.90 lakh (excluding showroom charges). Surprisingly, shortly after its official launch, the most affordable electric vehicle from BMW was completely sold out for this year.
iX1 Electric SUV: Affordable Luxury and Exceptional Performance
The iX1, competing with Volvo C40 Recharge, is powered by a 66.4kWh battery pack, enabling its dual-motor setup to produce 309bhp and 494Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 5.6 seconds and offers a claimed range of up to 440km on a fully charged battery according to WLTP standards.
