During a conversation with Munawar Faruqui, she shared why she didn’t attend Sushant’s funeral, despite encouragement from Vicky Jain. Ankita also mentioned that she knows what went wrong with Sushant, who tragically passed away in 2020.

In the discussion, Ankita asked Munawar to stop after he recited lines on heartbroken people, stating that it affected her deeply. She appreciated his words and sang “Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega” from Sushant’s film “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.”
Munawar’s Encounter with Sushant
Munawar, who had met Sushant at a special screening of “MS Dhoni,” shared his experience. Ankita described Sushant as a good person and expressed the strange feeling when referring to him in the past tense. She mentioned that Sushant was also Vicky’s friend, and realizing his absence is the worst feeling.
When asked about not attending Sushant’s funeral, Ankita explained that she couldn’t bring herself to witness it. Despite Vicky’s encouragement, she couldn’t find the courage to go. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, 2020, and Ankita, who dated him for years, is now married to Vicky Jain. The couple is currently part of Bigg Boss 17.
