During the event, Reliance Jio introduced India’s first satellite-based high-speed broadband service called JioSpaceFiber, which was previously unavailable in the country. This technology will provide fast internet services to users nationwide.
Akash Ambani showcased Jio’s indigenous technology and products to the Prime Minister, highlighting how Jio has enabled millions of homes and businesses in India to experience broadband internet for the first time. With JioSpaceFiber, they aim to expand their reach to millions more who are yet to be connected, offering affordable satellite-based internet services across the country.
Advancing India’s Technological Landscape
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated 100 5G labs, including prominent engineering colleges in India. The focus of these labs is on expanding 5G networks, preparing for the future 6G technology, advancing broadcasting, drone device manufacturing, semiconductor production, and sustainable technology. The event aims to explore cutting-edge technological progress, with a significant emphasis on artificial intelligence.
